Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Minine Translate (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The English version of these Terms is the official version; any translation is provided for convenience only.

Minine Translate is an iOS application that provides non-professional machine translation and related tooling. The App is provided primarily as a free, ad-supported utility. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, language pairing, or service of the App at any time, with or without notice.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. The App does not require account creation, but certain features may be linked to your device or Apple ID.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

This license does not allow you to: (a) redistribute, sublicense, sell, frame, or commercially exploit the App; (b) modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; or (c) use automated tools, bots, or scripts to load-test our services or access the App's APIs in bulk beyond reasonable personal use.

Your Inputs: You retain all ownership rights to the text, images, and other inputs you provide to the App (“User Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, transmit, cache, and display that content solely to operate the service and provide translations to you.

AI Outputs: In the context of machine translation, the App generates translated text and outputs. To the extent permitted by law, we assign any rights we may have in these outputs to you. However, you acknowledge that AI and machine translation outputs are generated by algorithms and may not be subject to copyright protection. You use and rely on these outputs entirely at your own risk.

You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose, fraud, abuse, or unlawful discrimination; (b) process or translate content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights or violates privacy laws; (c) circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security features or ad-serving technical measures; or (d) upload files or text containing malicious code or viruses.

Ad-Supported Model: The App is currently free and ad-supported. Ads and related measurement are provided by third-party ad networks. Please refer to our Privacy Policy regarding the use of IDFA, App Tracking Transparency (ATT), and integrated SDKs.

In-App Purchases (If Applicable): Should we offer premium features or ad-removal subscriptions in the future, all payments will be processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscriptions will auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple.

The App uses authorized third-party APIs and AI models to provide translations.

Not Professional Advice: Translation outputs are provided for informational and reference purposes only. They do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or security advice.

No Guarantee of Accuracy: Translation outputs may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for context. Network conditions and third-party service availability can affect quality. You alone decide whether to rely on the translations, especially in critical matters.

Handling of Sensitive Content: Do not submit highly sensitive, classified, or legally privileged information to the translation engine if you require absolute data localization, as inputs are transmitted to third-party APIs for processing.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, the following applies:

Acknowledgment: You and Minine Inc. acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Minine Inc. only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.

Maintenance and Support: Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you.

The App, excluding your User Content, but including our branding, design, algorithms, code, and documentation, is owned by Minine Inc. or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

The App integrates third-party services, including translation APIs, Google AdMob, Meta (Facebook) SDK, and AppsFlyer. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party acts, cloud outages, ad content, or policy changes.

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

THE APP AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE COVERAGE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY (50) U.S. DOLLARS. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR THIRD-PARTY OUTAGES.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Minine Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App in violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top. Your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
